Happy Friday to you! The first week back after the holidays always feels like a long one, huh?
Do you have anything fun planned this weekend? I have to work on Saturday for a few hours but Sunday we’re throwing a little shindig for my husband at a local brewery! This man- he has been working his butt off the last 3 (4?) years to finish his undergrad, all while working full time, planning a wedding, moving multiple times, buying our first home and having a baby! So, needless to say he deserves all the fun after this big accomplishment!
Anyway, here are some of my favorite things this week!
Instant Pot! I have been seeing these all over the Internet for months and debating buying one when my mother in law surprised me for Christmas with it! So far I’ve used it twice, once for a pulled BBQ beef recipe for sandwiches (I’ll share this recipe soon) and the second time after a busy day of work I seared and cooked a pork tenderloin perfectly in about 20 minutes! Both meals were quick, easy and delicious and I can’t wait to try more! This post contains affiliate link.
Lauren Gleisbergs’ January workout calendar! The holidays are a tough month for everyone health and fitness wise. I always feel like I overdid it on good food and alcohol during December and I so appreciate her workouts to get me back on track! Granted they don’t happen every day but I shoot for 4 times per week!
My new storage ottoman from Wayfair! Life with a toddler is messy! We live in a small two bedroom condo so the play room is also our living room. We’ve been battling with toy overload for months but after Christmas it got out of hand. Welcome our new ottoman, it arrived today, was easy to assemble and fits all of Ls smaller toys and books!
