We arrived in warm sunny Dallas yesterday at about noon and headed over to our hotel to check in. The Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Dallas is a really nice modern hotel in the heart of the city near some great restaurants and bars.
It also features this amazing pool!
Anyway, once we checked in I headed to the hotel fitness center for a workout. It was a long flight and I needed to stretch my legs!
Most hotel gyms are small and have minimal equipment but the Hiltons is great and looks out over that beautiful pool. It is clean and has a good amount of free weights, cables, quite a few benches/exercise balls, a few treadmills and ellipticall.
I started out with 10 minutes of jogging then followed it up with 3 rounds of:
- 12 weighted step ups (10 lbs)
- 20 Elevated glute bridges
- 10 curtesy lunges per side (10 lbs)
- 15 medicine ball squats (10 lbs)
- 12 lat pull downs (forget my weight!)
- 12 single arm rows per side (7.5 lbs)
- Seated rows (forget my weight!)
After that I went and stuck my tosies in that pool and enjoyed the warm sun for a bit before a quick shower and some exploring!
